Vasily, this pic is from the first thousand, here is for about 5 years already, no one touched it, do you offer to wait for another 5 years? I think it will be ok to put it on molbiol. Dina won't be upset and the case is curious, maybe new species in Russia.
Irina, here's S. herzi image http://catocala.narod.ru/ses09.html, not a candidate at all. Whilst yours looks very similar to Synanthedon hector. Synev's Catalogue is not a dogma, just a guide. Should show this pic to Gorbunov on molbiol.ru and give his ID here, on the website. :)
Andrey, when you notice something, please don't hesitate to doubt openly, so easy to make a mistake or miss something. We all try to check and verify questionable cases, I'm not totally sure, not familiar with these larvae, just checked websites, maybe we're both wrong with the author. Just I don't move if not sure. Anyway all moderators need help and prompts. Thanks.

This is a new species in Russia, move to uncertain with hope that Margarita Ponomarenko, a good expert in this group, and waiting for the remark on the species description page concerning its found in Russia. Then will move to identified confidently.
Andrey, are you pretty sure? I've checked, that black stripe never goes to the very down at Cerura vinula.

Greatest respect to this photographer. :)
Shamil, if there will be something gone out, please inform us :)
Vasily, check please this photo http://www.lepiforum.de/webbbs/images/forum_2/pic5545.jpg, maybe Shamil meant gender and different species from Lacanobia oleracea to L. suasa, I think the latter is right one.
Irina, thanks, I always try to check Vitaly, can miss something, he has lot of good photos, but IDing himself he happens to be wrong. :)

It's some Vlad's lapse. Laothoe populi is not a variant at all, neither by exterior, nor by location, especially the latter.
Corrected data. Laothoe populi / Vlad Proklov → Laothoe amurensis / Vasiliy Feoktistov.
Corrected data. Not identified → Deltote nemorum / Confidently identified / Alexandr Zhakov.
Yury, just a remark, in biological sense it does matter on which pupae feeds (plants) as well as where it's located (fixed, cocoon, in litter, soil), but doesn't do on which it rests.
Yeah, looks similar to Numenes disparilis, anyway such pics should be separated somehow, no chance to ID the very species, nothing to rely upon, so it's to be stuck in uncertain for ever.
Please resolve my doubts, it looks far from Hyles nicaea sheljuzkoi whilst you may have Hyles euphorbiae, isn't common species?
Corrected data. Imago → Male.
I see no problem, many websites include parasites and the latter are shown in the pages of their "victims" they ate :)
Andrey, thanks. Definitely plumbella.
