I agree, the intrigue will remain :) smotet further. And that already saw the site where the pages of this genus, 2 species, and more are under one. :))

On mothsofborneo such an image that no wrinkles at all albimarginata have not seen), and boldsystems - only one examined, and 2 copies. in this area too zatёrtye. Reacted to the variation .. Yes, Sasha, perhaps trying to pull the ears albimarginata), but only because a delicator still can not bind me.Pieces 5 live considered summer (sat quietly under the light), and all the width of the white band was approximately equal to the distance between the two veins, more-less, its boundary as if a diagonal divides a rectangle between the two veins of the 15 authentic images online (8 of them on jpmoth) also single with a large white area. And yet - examined on beige living area from the anal angle NC - she'd always step, in general, classic delicat (i) or - if you compare with what he saw in nature - that such http://hattoritaka.web.fc2.com/ ga / kuromonaoshaku.html http://d.hatena.ne.jp/yyzz2/20070813/p1 and in no way convinces Sasha, just thinking, then let stand up yet)

On Comibaena albimarginata not like more than Comibaena delicator. Look at the basal white sash: at albimarginata - sharp hall at the top, had a broken delicator it, but without sharp creases, and here, almost like a compass. :)

Sasha, a year ago you suggested inaccurate in supply, and not rule out that "something can and the third." She's like something from the beginning somehow did not go in delicator, embarrassed color spots on the upper wings and the size of the white area; I've seen enough delicator live, especially this summer. Bottom VC is another angle, from delicator brown area and larger and brighter (redder). And today, in connection with new productions again reviewed all the possible options, and I think that just may beComibaena albimarginataIt is very similar to subdelicata, I initially assumed, but spread more. What do you think?

There is no Comibaena subdelicata Inoue, 1985 on the Japanese website, by the way there is Comibaena subdelicata Inoue, 1986 , quite rare thing.

This is Comibaena subdelicata

Let's it stays in uncertain so far) Agree that subdelicata doesn't fit the location, still I never met delicatior with such a broad white spot. I tried these links from my login, everything opens, would be great if you anyway check these. Alexandr, it looks so subdelicata!

25.11.2013 0:24, Alexandr Zhakov

I can't check either of these links, not relevant though. As I got it, Thai means Thailand. Comibaena subdelicata is distributed on southern Japanese islands and Taiwan as opposed to widely distributed Comibaena delicatior. Besides, a number of websites show it lacks white margin spot on forewings whilst Comibaena delicatior has this spot, more or less, but always. Can be something another as well, neither of these two. Comibaena delicatior, uncertain, then? Your opinion, Irina?

24.11.2013 23:35, Irina Nikulina

Sasha, I was checking carefully) Hesitated between Comibaena subdelicata and Comibaena delicatior. But the colour of the forewing spots and the white area coverage... This made me sure http://www.oocities.org/hk/geometridaetw/orientalgeo.65.htm ) + http://homepage2.nifty.com/shikokuga/z42aosyaku.html ) Please check, they're both shown on the latter link. If I'm wrong, looking forward to the right ID)

Irina, don't want to deprive you of the identifier title, the gender is right, another species, look more, very close. :)

Comibaena subdelicata Inoue, 1985
