Moved to males.

Our colleagues from the Far East all seem to have kind of self-defeating mood, like one pouted, another is pleading for the website to be closed. I was confused too by this photo, not with venation though (such quasi-medial stuff can be as well met in other photos of Pieris brassicae on the web). I don't like its broad fore wings, again not looks like Appias. Turns out to be Pieris then. The fore wings look clearly transparent, so Pieris 100% sure. In the Far East there is only Pieris brassicae. Male.

Alexandr, thanks! Looks like not entirely hopeless, there is a beam of light!
Sure, there's a way with a will, and maybe it's the best solution. Anyway, would be great to find a shorter way, to discuss things out and eventually clear them up. Definitely.

Petr! Don't you please taunt. Or if the very website administrator is talking like that, shalll the whole website be deleted as hopeless, totally of no use?

06.03.2013 13:20, Alexandr Zhakov

Yury, don't despair. Where there's a will, there's a way. :)

Let's remove everything, why only Pieridae...

06.03.2013 8:41, Yuri Semejkin

Well, looks like we have no experts in Pieridae. Then the whole family should be removed from the website.

Likely to be another species? Reason: Pieris brassicae shouldn't commonly have medial cell. Or?
