Photographer's comment: Wingspan: 59 mm. During the period of developed human agricultural activity in my region, the number of this whitefly was very high everywhere and as everywhere it was considered a pest (and still by inertia it is considered one). But as our agriculture declined, the number of the species also declined (I attribute this to the cessation of planting of cabbage, turnips, and other cruciferous plants on an industrial scale). Now we are very lucky to meet a real cabbage patch: more and more small turnips Pieris rapae come across.Please, create an account or log in to add comments.
