Yet have a question: Japanese websites say that the species has monetaria ssp. in Far East which was also mentioned by P. Morozov on molbiol.ru ("Our moths belong to ssp. monetaria Oberthür, 1879 which is as well distributed in Northeast China, Korea and in Hokkaido island (Japan). V. V. Dubatolov describes monetaria Oberthür, 1879 as a gigantea synonym (http://szmn.eco.nsc.ru/Lepidop/Notodon.htm). Synev whatsoever lacks monetaria. Here on this website we have individual species Peridea monetaria (Oberthür, 1879). So let's decide where to move the pic.
