Photographer's comment: Bombus cullumanus serrisquama Morawitz, 1888. Kupyanskaya det. The determination was carried out under binoculars according to the provided sample. The sample was transferred to the collection of BPI FEB RAS.

I do not exclude that Kupyanskaya could have made a mistake (I dealt with her definitions), I did not look at Far Eastern bumblebees so much that I could determine them by the color of their hairs. You need the head on top and the hind leg close-up on the side for clarification. From a distance, it resembles hypocrita. Cullumanus can also be found here, but it is much less common in this area.
