Photo: Svetlana Aminchikova. Image redone at the website. Identified by: Igor Sakhno

Date and time, location shooting/catching: 2011-07-00 00:00:00, Kemerovo region, near Prokop'yevsk city

Photographer's comment: Dear community! If anybody knows, what's that wonder which was brought in a marjoram bouquet? The shiny part may not be seen on the photo, so it looks like a real gold and reminds a hussar pelisse. Meh, I can't choose only pupae using the search to know what's that. The search goes to the infinity... We "planted" it to a flower pot, wait for a "harvest". Hope, it won't be a crocodile...

Experts, would you please solve it out?

08.11.2012 22:31, Igor Sakhno

I'd like to think this is Polygonia C-album, the shell is curved quite typically in where the forewing's placed (what's clearly seen). Further identification is on experts.
