Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species
- The species is easily recognized by the gray-green tone of the elytra, due to the color of the pubescence; from the similar, but smaller Acmaeops angusticollis it is easily distinguished by a relatively less dense pubescence, which does not completely hide the cuticle, the bristles of the pubescence are hairy, not at all expanded in the middle; pronotum with rare dotted lines; male length: 6.5-10.5 mm female size: 7.5-12.0 mm.
