Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species

  • Superficially similar to @ @ Acmaeops smaragdulus, but much smaller; green or gray-green tone of elytra is much brighter, in fresh specimens they look grass-green due to dense green pubescence, completely hiding the black pronotum and black elytra; bristles are slightly shortened and expanded in the middle; pronotum with dense dotted line: length of males size : 5.9-8.6 mm; females: 6.0-8.8 mm (some authors ' references to larger sizes are probably due to errors in definitions).
