Distribution
- Regions of the Russian Federation: the Trans-Baikal, the Lower Amur, Primorye, Sakhalin, Mid-Amur, South Kuril. [3].
- It inhabits a variety of habitats in deciduous and mixed forests, preferring sparse plantings, forest meadows, and the edge of the trees and bushland [95].
Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species
- Wingspan 26-30 mm. Wings of male dark blue top, with a bluish tinge, front and outer edges of the front fenders with a narrow dark border. The front wings female top with wide black border and blue-violet field is much smaller than the male. [95].

- Butterfly 1st generation feed mostly on flowers Armeniaca mandshurica (Manchurian apricot), Pyrus ussuriensis (Ussuri pear), Malus mandshurica (Manchurian apple). Typically, the male occupies a small portion that is actively guarding, driving other males, often rising above the treetops. Females are held in the lower tier [2].
