Distribution
- Regions of the Russian Federation: Seaside. [3].
- In Primorye, known only 2 kinds of permanent colonies in the territory of the Ussuri Nature Reserve (in the river valleys and Komarovka Suvorovka).View similar biologically to Celastrina filipjevi, they occur in the same habitats - in lowland mixed forests and scrub along the river banks in the sand and gravel deposits, where it grows fodder plant caterpillars.
Outside the Russian Federation: the North-Eastern, Central and Southern China, and Korea. [96].
Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species
- Length of front wing 15-17 mm. Male top violet-blue with a narrow black margin. The female black edge pattern expanded fringe, especially near the top of the wing, which continues along the costal margin. On the underside is light gray, with a blue plaque at the root.On the front and rear wings of pronounced black picture: discal touches the outside and sometimes podkraevoy number of points [8].

- Females fly in July and lay eggs in the adult bushes on thin twigs, young - around the trunks. [96].
Imago lifespan
- Butterfly marked the end of May to early September, but are most common in July. The number of generations per year is not set. There are suggestions on the development in a generation or two, and even three generations incomplete. [98].

- Dolly length of 9-10 mm. in rare light-colored hairs. Her head end and wing buds smoky spotted dark brown, abdomen cream [98].
