Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species
- :: Head and chest yellow, darkened, abdomen brown-black. The thighs are light brown, the bases of the apex are lighter, and the legs are yellowish. ♂ : The body is light yellow. [270].
- The wings are more often shortened(brachyptera), rarely there are full-winged individuals (macroptera) or with half the wing length (hemimacroptera). The V segment of the antennae is brown, barely lighter than the VI. There are 2 (sometimes 3) microchetes on the prothorax between the anterolateral macrochetes. The anterolateral setae are clearly shorter than the anterolateral ones. Bell-shaped sensillae on the posterior thorax are present. ♀: 1210-1530 µm ♂: 950-1100 µm [274].
