Habitus and Differences from alike species

  • Wingspan 70-90 mm. They are dark reddish brown with bluish gray and white markings. The f. danisepa and f. aegialus mimic Euploea radamanthus, f. haasei mimics female of Euploea mulciber. There are several forms including:
    - Male f. telearchus (Hewitson, 1852)
    - Male f. daniseppa (Butler, 1885)
    - Male f. aenigma (Wallace, 1865)
    - Male and female f. aegialus (Distant, 1883)
    - Female f. haasei (Rothschild, 1895) [144]. Svetlana Shchavelina.
