Butterflies and music: Gregg Diamond, Luther Vandross and Chaka Khan

Community and ForumBlogButterflies and music: Gregg Diamond, Luther Vandross and Chaka Khan

“Baby, it's cold outside” should butterflies be murmuring to each other whilst dreaming deep beneath the snow and waiting for spring. Which is fairly hard to disagree these days when it's about minus 20 Celsius outside. However the winter has a special charm too, and we'd better warm ourselves with some genuine American soul that will be keeping our spirits high until butterflies get awake.

For one, with Gregg Diamond's “Hot Butterfly” released in 1978 with Diamond's band “Bionic Boogie” and Luther Vandross' vocal. The song was later covered by Yvette Marie Stevens, or simply Chaka Khan. Both versions are great though Vandross' performing is an absolute hit.
