The Committee on Rare and Endangered Wildlife Species of the Khabarovsk region advised that the next three relict species would be put on the Khabarovsk Red List — Sphecodina caudata, Shijimiaeoides divina and Protohermes martynovae, reported RIA Novosti citing the Khabarovsk Krai Government latest press release.
The Red List of Khabarovsk Krai includes 127 animal species, 167 plant and fungal species.
“Experts proposed endangered status for three Lepidoptera species as those Sphecodina caudata, Shijimiaeoides divina and Protohermes martynovae. All three have been discovered in the region recently, yet poorly studied, deemed as relict and are endangered,” — reads the press release.
It was also proposed to put the yellow-throated marten on The Red List of Khabarovsk Krai.
