Friends, smile.gif
I have a very practical interest in the habitat areas (sorry for the unscientific terms) of midges, well, mosquitoes to the heap, to the south, south-west, south-east of Moscow, about 150-300 kilometers. I want to identify for myself the search areas for "distant cottages" with a minimum of mosquitoes and without midges.
Please advise me, otherwise I want to calmly drink tea on the veranda on summer evenings and enjoy sleeping at night.smile.gif)

IMHO, these animals are quite ubiquitous.
If you want to drink tea on the veranda without midges-drink it in the second half of June, or even closer to the end of June. And there will be no mosquitoes in September or early May...

I'm afraid that you will only need a site at either the North or South Pole, or at least at the bottom of the world's oceans. smile.gif

No, well, why is it so scary: the top of Jamolugma will also come down. (maybe even Elbrus , but I'm not sure) tongue.gif

You won't find it in Moscow for sure, but you can buy a mosquito repellent from the Chinese for the light, which will also kill them..

And it is better to buy a summer cottage in the Crimea, there are never any mosquitoes there (only in places with fresh water bodies). In some places but there are midges smile.gif

Yes, Crimea is a nice place.
Especially for catching insects.
Oleander hawkmoth is the dream of any insect lover.
