- Japan (Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu), China, Mongolia, the Himalayas, Southern Europe. Kazakhstan Regions of Russia: Khabarovsk Krai, Amur Oblast, Primorsky Krai, Sakhalin, Kuriles (Iturup Island, Kunashir): Southern Siberia, Caucasus, European part SSR [250].
Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species
- The body is broadly oval, moderately convex. The elytra are yellow or yellowish-brown, with 5 faintly visible white spots on each; the spots often disappear. Pronotum is yellow, with lighter sides. [250].
