Nadys in to the topic " Who is this?" I threw a photo of a dragonfly taken (not by me!) somewhere in the United States (not Mexico). Unfortunately, the species identity of the dragonfly has not been established. Having searched the Internet myself, I came to the conclusion that it looks like this is a pretty girl ( Calopteryx virgo). But can it be in the US? We have such people in Karelia (I saw them myself in practice on the PTA after the first year). Unfortunately, I did not find a map of the distribution of the species on Earth. At best, there are distribution maps for individual countries (Ireland, Bulgaria). In order not to be offtopic in the topic by definition, I started a new one. So, the questions are:
1) Is there a pretty girl in the United States?
2) As far as I found on the Internet, there are not very many types of beauties at all. What species live in the United States?
