Just because a bug-like robot has been developed doesn't mean that it's a simulated insect behavior. Approximately the same can be argued, claiming that "Tamagotchi" or whatever it is correctly, is a simulated copy of the child's behavior, based on the fact that he also asks to eat, play with him, clean up after him and communicate. tongue.gif

I agree ! That's why I said "not fully restored"!
Computers have programs that simulate dialogs even -
that is, you can" talk "with hardware. I have the honor !
And you Omar name yourself and occupation!

You probably don't know what you're talking about. Your term "primitive" seems to be a conscious reflection of your essence , so you use it wherever you don't need it. The fact that insects are not primitive is a generally accepted fact, which has not been proven by me, and if you are not aware of it until now, it means that you are undertaking to discuss a field in which you are not only not an expert, but also have no idea at all. It is impossible to force an insect to stay awake around the clock if it is an insect with a long (even a couple of years) adult phase for any long time without its death. It seems to me that this is a reflection of the fact that the processes of "rest"that are akin to the mammalian brain occur in the insect brain. Of course, the issue is still far from being explored.

An official, a minor official. An amateur entomologist. My name doesn't matter.

An official-it sounds scary. I asked for the level of education !
You should read my arguments CAREFULLY, and not rush into a fever as if it were about your personality ! A typical official, or a narrow-minded person just, sorry ! -
the interlocutor should listen attentively, and not narovit turn on the "fool"!
It says "the centers of human basal functions exceed the level of development of the insect nervous system" - this word I later replaced with the comparison "primitive"for the sake of simplicity of your understanding.
Stop slowing down ! In my opinion, everything is already clear about the "primitive nature" without
your comments !
Good topic for a schoolboy ! Only some participants slow down something!
I leave the topic - I'm tired of doing it like thiswall.gif, proving the
same thing a hundred times!

Omar don't slow down ! Insects already live for a year or two ! Some -one day !
Name the long-lived insects, please ! And the life span !
"an amateur entamologist is a fly exterminator.

Yes, guest, you are also a rough type! Ground beetles of the genus Carabus, at least some species, live for more than two years. Polposipes herculeanus lives in the beetle phase for more than 7 years. Female founders of many social insects usually live more than 4 years. Еще?

And if you want to lick your lips, you can do it in your toilet-at least there you will be comfortable with yourself.

And about the schoolboy. Somewhere it was rightly noted that wisdom is determined not by the number of wrinkles, but by the working capacity of the convolutions. As for Mr. Ripper, believe me, he is quite competent and not a bad person, at least in some groups of insects.

Nikanor Fomich, stop being rude and conduct the discussion in a civilized manner. You are on the forum of entomologists, the vast majority of whom are specialists. About the official education of the participants-in this topic. By the way, insects still rest, as well as other animals. Another thing is that these may be short periods. Omar already said about the "primitive" ones.
