Often, books indicate certain distinctions of bee breeds, for example, Carpathian bees: it is described that they are gray, but practically they are brown, so why do they lie?And besides, let's start a conversation and a big topic about bees! wink.gif

They don't lie about why they need to. It's just very difficult to meet a pure bee breed. This is only possible in the relevant organizations. The problem is that a breeding queen (of the same Carpathian bee), if it was not hatched from a breeding Carpathian drone, can do it with any other and all the bees will be "different" and new queens too. And there are as many drones as you want.

In general, the bee breed is the most unclear topic for any beekeeper.

To be honest, I (a former beekeeper) have never been interested in bee breeds, much less their diagnostics. The only thing I know is that the average Russian breed is very angry bees (sometimes you can buy such a surprise in the form of a hybrid smile.gif), and the Carpathian breed is not evil and productive in our region.

Yes, I had a cross, I technically remade them, destroying the uterus, put them from another family, well, I ate enough milk, to the dump
