Caddis flies?

Community and ForumInsects biology and faunisticsCaddis flies?

In one of the Moscow reservoirs, I found a brick covered with tubes of some animals, single and arranged in clusters of 1-2 dozen. I found a large caddisfly larva and many small larvae of some insects (also caddisflies?)
Can caddis flies form tubes attached to a solid substrate, and are there any colonial species?
