Anthocharis cardamines in August!

Community and ForumInsects biology and faunisticsAnthocharis cardamines in August!

Today, August 10, I saw an almost fresh male zorka! The meeting point is around the city of Snezhinsk in the Chelyabinsk region. Is this the second generation, or the sooooo long first?
Normally, they fly with us from about May 20 to June 20. There are small discrepancies from year to year, but not so much...
Who has any opinions?

And how do you like the freshest female A. cardamines AT an ALTITUDE of 3800 on the Koi-Jol pass in the Altai together with simonius? I've never seen anything higher than 2000 before.

Here for such cases, this category also exists, I think we still do not know a lot...
