Someone came across such a phenomenon - for one female, for example, two males "stuck" ? smile.gif

have you tried opening the lock with two keys at once?

I didn't try it, but I saw the fact of mating three pigeons at once yesterday, and the pictures were all taken by wink.giftwo males for one female, and all three of them also took off ))

I didn't see this )

I've seen it, but it's not exactly a group video.
18,05,13. Two arguses were mating, and the third one was trying to join them. But it didn't work out.

Well, it turned out for the ones I observed, by the way, Waveshtorm has already seen these pictures of mine in theory )
Here is an interesting point, whether there was a real mating, can a female get sperm from two individuals at once. Although this does not affect anything very much, just then from one clutch there will be caterpillars from two males.
But the same in theory can be from mating in turn.

I've seen your pictures, but I haven't seen anything like this myself. Only attempts to adapt to already mating individuals, as in the above picture.

Well, it's not a fact that this is a very rare phenomenon, because there are attempts, and they sometimes end successfully. When making a hike along the route, we are good if we see 0.1% of mating that occurs within a given biotope at a given time smile.gif
Although, so far I haven't found anything about this fact anywhere..

the third one when trying to settle down is understandable, I often saw it, but it turned out successfully and 2 males at once... so where are the pictures?

Invisible WELL nothing. I had to get closer to the genitals, take a close-up of what was there and where. And so it is not clear whether two really managed to stick it in, or whether one just rubs on the side from hopelessness.

Ezox is not a reader of course, he is an expert broadcaster lol.gif
Yes, and in flight, when all three took off, too, the male still rubs with despair, what a persistent male )

So this flight is not visible, but you can say a lot of things. Such unique phenomena should be recorded qualitatively (if, of course, you have something with you). Then if someone starts to challenge, and you bang him (me), as you say, fotopruf.

And by the way, I took a series of pictures, approx. 10, and still something is there, where the pair is on the side and the male is hanging end to end, but I won't show wink.gifyou Who knows)

Uh, I saw the topic too late... But, nevertheless, I will post a photo. (Male Phoebus and tenedius and female Phoebus, Yakutia).

From the point of view of the morphology of the sexual apparatus, there can be no double mating. Two edeaguses in one bursa will still not be able to turn out the endophallus. Therefore, one male blew, the second laterally clung to the valvami like tongs.
