Help identify dragonflies mol.gif

On 4 - female Sympetrum sanguineum, and on 2-probably the same, only young. The rest has already been said correctly.

Larva definitely. Purely visually resembles the genus Creoboter, but I dare not say.

22.08.2007 10:48, guest: Brandashmyg

Larva of Creobotra sp. According to the old Beier system, this is Hymenopodidae. Grow up to an imago and try to identify it. I tried and faded frown.gif

Creoboter, Creobroter etc. - unjustified correction. On the other hand, I didn't check to see if there were any solutions for the name.

This is the creoboter nymph, I've seen it several times! but it is difficult to say what kind of specific type, they were released in vain, it is difficult to get them from us!

22.08.2007 12:13, guest: Brandashmyg

Damn, I didn't notice that the beast was released,.. Pitifully.

Where I lived, people were VERY bad - he would not have survived 100%

Photographed recently: about 2 cm in size, and if disturbed raises the tail on which a dark drop is formed. Who is it?

Larva of some dead-eating beetle (Silphidae) in my opinion.

At the dacha in the evening, above a flower bed, I saw a strange creature that at first glance looked like a hummingbird. It is about 6 cm long and has a wingspan of about 7 cm. The abdomen is fusiform with wide annular stripes (I couldn't see the color). The eyes are large. It flaps its wings very quickly, but noiselessly. It hangs on each flower and collects nectar with a long (about 4-5 cm) proboscis similar to a beak. It moves very fast. Maybe someone knows what kind of beast?

Good day, gentlemen entomologists! I'm not an expert in this area, but there is a question!
Please help me identify this work (!) of mother nature.
Please forgive me for addressing you with a simple idle interest.
I assume that it may not be a bug at all, but you are experts?!
By the way, I've seen enough of this beauty on your forum!!!
Thank you in advance!
Good luck to you all in everything!

Not a butterfly girl?

15.09.2007 23:19, Алексей Яковлев

Not a butterfly girl?

Then why does she have a blucho? Yes, and bright too much for Psychodidae. Doubtful somehow...
It's more like Coccoidea

Guys, we found a maggot in the salad. It is necessary to determine how exactly it could have got there. You can tell us what kind of larva or caterpillar it is, and where its habitat is. Of course, if it is possible from this photo.

Brr... It's disgusting. Start with apples, moth...

Once again, I put, with a request to determine, a green cicada from the Southern Urals (July 21).
