I tried to take a bigger picture without legs.

Oops! I didn't expect this. The hairs on the scales are arranged as in Formica rufibarbis. I'm at a loss. If you look at the hairs - a typical form of Formica rufibarbis. But Formica rufibarbis does not have brownish spots on the sides. Yes, and on the top of the chest does not always happen. And Formica cunicularia has much less hair, but there are dark spots not only on the top of the chest, but also on the sides. And here it seems and brownish scorch marks on the sides (or it seems?) and hairs like Formica rufibarbis. I'm getting lost...

I made an attempt to identify this ant by its keys (http://www.antvid.org/Gal1/Formicinae/Formica%20subpilosa.html ). I got it-Formica subpilosa smile.gif
Could it be?

Could it be?

Maybe. However, I have no information about the distribution of this species north of the Volgograd region. And this species usually has a few hairs sticking out on the underside of its head. And quite often-on epinotum. In general, subpilosa and cinerea are the most hairy of the serviformes. And this one in the photo is not so hairy in appearance. Although, of course, everything in life happens.

Here are photos of subpilosa samples:

Pay attention to the protruding hairs on the epinotum and on the underside of the chest. It was these hairy ones that I observed on the banks of the Volga River south of Volgograd and in the Astrakhan region. Your hair looks more like rufibarbis. I'm not an ant expert. If you want , I can contact our specialists. Show these photos.

Comrades, in the center of the city of Stavropol (Stavropol Territory, Russia) at the base of the stump of a sawn poplar tree, I photographed a swarm of large wasps (30.05.18).
Can you help me determine up to the type? What are the comments?
On the attached photo-it seems to be "uterus".

In these photos, everything is clear up to the genus, but in the future, when determining bees, it would be good to take a photo with a clearly visible venation of the front wing. Okay, when you shoot in nature with folded wings, but you can show everything on the pin, and here in all the photos the front wing is not completely visible.

Well, the last copy of Lasioglossum sp., the rest Andrena sp.
