Thanks! I will search in Plateumaris...

I think this is Plateumaris sericea (L., 1758), they have many different color forms.

Rhabdorrhynchus junki is a synonym for Rhabdorrhynchus karelini. This species is listed in our qualifiers beer.gif

And apion rolleyes.gifis not clear on whatconfused.gif, it was Barry shuffle.gifwho mowed everything in a row, 2 fields were skewed smile.gif

And the rest of the elephants, what are they then? especially this black one (Donus sp.?), which is similar in color to Cryptorhynchus lapathi (Linnaeus, 1758) and Grypus equiseti (Fabricius, 1775).Funny, I caught him, in the evening I picked up a stone, cleaned up the garbage and left a black pebble, I let him go, and he flew 15 cm and before my eyes turned into a running weevil.

Maybe someone from Aspidapion. And Donus - I don't even know, we should look for Zaslavsky's work, there are endemic species in the Crimea.

maybe Aspidapion aeneum (Fabricius, 1775),

Such variations in the elytra pattern are not uncommon for Leptura quadrifasciata.

Absolutely, the drawing of Leptura quadrifasciata is quite variable, and from "someone else" in your area only Leptura (s. str.) annularis ssp. annularis Fabricius, 1801 (=arcuata Panzer, 1793) can be, but this is clearly not it ))

I had a similar ground beetle, but from South Africa, I identified it as Anthia (s. str.) cinctipennis (Lequien, 1832), probably it.
For the rest, I can only say the families-1. blackthorn (Tenebrionidae), 2. - abscesses (Meloidae) smile.gif

Thank you very much! Ground beetle shot 150 km away. to the border with South Africa. But I've met her in the Kalahari, too. It seems that it is very common there.

Thank you for the others, too....Maybe we'll get to the views on the sly. In any case, such abscesses are found all over Namibia and even in southern Angola.
