I can add that Mycterus tibialis is a fairly common beetle (Saratov region), found most often on milkweed flowers. Sometimes they are collected en masse on individual plants. They also have yellowish, rather than gray, hairs.

This is Sciaphilus asperatus (Bonsdorff, 1785). Note that the antennal grooves are lateral, while in Otiorhynchus they are dorsal!
