China, Weihai.

I think this is Carabus (Cathaicus) brandti Faldermann, 1835, with the subspecies already more difficult.

1-2. Most likely, the same thing. Not lateralis, too shallow. And it doesn't look like analis. Probably pygmaeus, but you need to look from below.
3. Cryptopleurum, minutum or crenatum.

You, maik, if you want to puzzle people - put up walls! Especially from the grossepuntatus group. Here in a puddle will sit all!

Tetratoma fungorum Fabricius, 1790
My latest discovery is this fall's discovery. Suddenly found among the Triplax aenea in the singular. Collected on oyster mushrooms from a dead-standing poplar. A few days later, I went to get a couple of pieces for the series, but someone had already cut all the mushrooms. And just under the bark they were found. A lot!. I took three.

Good afternoon, forumchane!
Please help me figure it out.
In this literature - Lebedev A. G. " Materials for the fauna of beetles (Coleoptera) Kazan province. Proceedings. Russ.Entom. Obshch., St. Petersburg, Volume XXXVII, 1905. From 352-438-the beetle Ochthebius riparius Illig is indicated.
Here - Catalog Palaearctic Coleoptera Vol.2 Hydrophiloidea_Histeroidea_Staphylinoidia - not
here either https://www.zin.ru/ANIMALIA/COLEOPTERA/RUS/hydraeru.htm - no problem

I can't find the ends. What kind of beetle are we talking about?

7.1 -- and what makes it clear that this is Byrrhus pilula?

9 - this is of course nogohvostka.

then dark Cytilus sericeus?

about the 9th - I looked for a long time, but did not see the division of the abdomen, but the legs seemed suspicious, however, according to such photos, you can play a guessing game
