April 13 marked two years since the untimely death of a remarkable man and a talented Far Eastern entomologist Meshcheryakov Vladimir Romanovich .Many entomologists his name is well known, and lovers of butterflies know it by the book Yuri Arakcheeva "In a country blue Swallowtail", in several chapters of which the author describes their joint Vladimir trip to Primorye and the story of the arrival of 16-year-old Volodya Meshcheryakov from the Urals to the Far East, where he met a couple of months with Alexei Ivanovich Kurentsova and was invited to work in his group. This meeting is all predetermined his fate - Vladimir forever remained in the Far East, and dedicated his life to the study of Far Eastern entomofauna. He was very enthusiastic, utterly devoted to his beloved entomology. Love of butterflies and he gave us his close friends. It is thanks to him that we, the people, in their education far from entomology, discovered the wonderful world of butterflies. In memory of Vladimir Meshcheryakov, we continue to publish his photographs taken in 2008-2011. Such was his desire - to bring these photos Site favor.
(Unfortunately, the picture remained without definition, so we will get to the truth together.)
