Please help me identify the moth.
Krasnoyarsk region, Kacha station, taiga. 24.05.17. Span. kr. - 25 mm

I will only assume that this is a dark variation of Trichopteryx carpinata, I may be wrong, but it flies there.

Is this Lyonetia padifoliella by any chance? It didn't work out properly, even after 10 minutes of frost, she immediately starts to get mad.
And something like Carpatolechia proximella, but where are the pair of black dots on the outer half of the wing? Pestovo, last night.

1) It is not very similar to padifoliella either... It is necessary to cook, most likely dark prunifoliella.

2) C. proximella is normal, imho...

For an exact definition, do you need a type of maple ?

I didn't collect these types personally, so leaf wrapper specialists can help. according to the photo from lepiforum, this is regiana, but according to the photo from Razovsky, not everything is so clear. On it, the types of maples partially overlap. An instance was not built?

Good afternoon! Sakhalin, late April-May.
I strongly doubt my own definition of Orthosia incerta and Anorthoa angustipennis (Matsumura, 1926).
Please help me understand how to distinguish between Orthosia gothica jezoensis (Matsumura, 1926) and Orthosia askoldensis.

Size also matters: regiana is a little bigger.
No, just a photo, there is another one, another individual, but the quality is worse:

is it possible to identify a Bucculatrix species from the male's genitals?
Very similar to Bucculatrix nigricomella. The width of the aedeagus in the middle is already valva. The back corner of the valva is not extended into the drawn corner. The apex of the aedeagus is not hooked. Confuses the distribution a bit.
