Arkhangelsk region, the second decade of July. It is similar to Lycaena dispar, but I didn't find it in the list of chervonets that I was given for our region...

Same place. Nordmannia pruni (Satyrium pruni)? Which, by the way, is correct?

I would say it is a female Lycaena thersamon.

Tell me, I don't see Lycaena helle in the new list. Is this type excluded? (I haven't seen it myself, but it's on the old list.)

Well, because it's an addition to the old list.

It's clear. And then I ran diagonally, even half of the butterflies did not see. Tell me, is there a complete old list, and then I only have an excerpt for the day shuffle.gif

Dear experts, please help. I shot a butterfly in the Samara region at the end of June. Identified it as Argynnis paphia. But I was pointed out an error. I am not an expert in this field and of course I could have made a mistake. Please watch the video because there are no photos. Thank you in advance. https://youtu.be/r7tnNAwpHAs

Good afternoon! Beautiful and high-quality video! You were correctly pointed out the error. This is not A. paphia. Your mother-of-pearl is smaller than pafia and has a different wing pattern. Alas, I can't say exactly what kind.

I'm sorry, Evgeny. The person who pointed out the mistake to me is also from Kharkiv, so I thought so. Thank you for your help in identifying the butterfly.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=we23NJ8_wh4 -- N. xanthomelas (Igor is also QUITE right here smile.gif)

I really appreciate your help. That's just about urticaria (polychrome ) I asked a question that, if you'll excuse me, I'll ask you. I read some information about Nymphalis xanthomelas. Everywhere it says about one white spot on the upper wing, and this one has at least two. How do I explain this?
