I can't identify it. Maybe it was a Moma alpium scoop?

You have two similar species living there. Number 2 is most likely E. euryale, but in such cases you need pictures of both the top and underside of the wings.

Good evening to all!
Really lucky to catch the Craniophora pontica (Craniophora pontica) in our Stavropol Territory? It is, however, similar to the more common C. ligustri. But in my opinion, it still looks more like pontica. I will be grateful for the hint of the specific name.

This is Ascotis selenaria, look at the eyes on the wings.

It was those eyes that confused me... Now everything fell into place. Thank you for the definition! shuffle.gif

Second from above: Epirrhoe alternata (white-banded moth).
Third: Scopula immorata (heather moth).
And where was the scoop caught? It is similar to Auchmis detersa (barberry scoop).

1 Apamea monoglypha

Yes. You're probably right again. This is A. monoglypha, though somewhat shabby. To confirm your version of the view, I attach a picture from the German site.

Good day! While sorting out my recent collections from near Stavropol, I came across an interesting woodworm. I spent half a day trying to identify it. I get a new species described in 2005 by R. V. Yakovlev Dyspessa kostjuki. What are your opinions? confused.gif

But here's the question: is it alceae or flocciferus? There is no forest nearby, the biotope is a floodplain meadow:
