If disturbed, a white fluid is released along the edges of the abdomen. Everyone present within a 5-meter radius has watery eyes. Found on a tree. Unfortunately, I don't know the type of tree. I can make a better picture if necessary.

These are beetles from the subfamily Ectrichodiinae, there are few such large ones in this subfamily. As far as can be judged from the photo, this is Centraspis petersii Schaum, 1853, other species of this genus live in west and central Africa.

Platimeris laevicollis?

16.03.2021 14:55, Microwars

Size 40mm

17.03.2021 0:31, Triplaxxx

Most likely, they are Platymeris laevicollis Distant, 1919, or alternatively Platymeris rhadamanthus Gerstaecker, 1873, they also have red spots on the gemstones.

The structure of the antennae and upper pubescence is not very clearly visible, but in principle, I would say that it is Calocoris affinis (Herrich-Schäffer, 1835), although it is located somewhat to the east of its known range.

As far as you can tell from the photo, this is some kind of Lactistes, probably, or Lactistes vericulatus Schiødte, 1848, or Lactistes incertus Signoret, 1881.

V. E. Yakovlev's 1864 article "Hemipteran faunas of the Volga region" indicates the bug Acanthia ciliata Evm. What kind are we talking about?

01.04.2021 18:39, Guest

Oeciacus hirundinis (Lamarck, 1816)

01.04.2021 22:04, Triplaxxx

Well, yes, Acanthia ciliata is a synonym for Oeciacus hirundinis. Only there is one more species from this genus-Oeciacus montandoni Pericart, 1972. What species did Yakovlev study ???

Some species of Eremocoris, possibly Eremocoris abietis (Linnaeus, 1758). You can't see any key signs, and there's something wrong with the color, it's very bright.

Nabis ericetorum?
picture: 1.jpg

29.05.2021 23:38, Triplaxxx

Nabis are mostly identified by their genitals. This is a male, in nabids the paramers are large, located outside the body, if the bug is collected, you can soak the pigophore (with alcohol and a brush) and carefully unfold the paramer with a pin so that it can be clearly seen.
