Community and ForumTaxonomy. Classificationlet's talk about Ornithoptera

This bird-wing is a hybrid from crossing O. Rothschildi and O. Priamus Poseidon. Unfortunately, I have never been able to see a single photo of this butterfly (neither male nor female), although I have been collecting
birdwings for several years. If someone knows where to look at the photo,
please help out! My mailbox
bard200606@mail.ru Thank you in advance! Good luck!

Unfortunately, the photo is only of the underside of the wings. Sold on one of the bourgeois sites, at a price of only 999 CU

What about them? A commercial group with a taxonomy that is perverted to the very tomatoes (especially intraspecific). I once tried to push a revision of the genus in one Western magazine (just their profile is tropics), but they didn't let me in with the vague wording "too many synonyms": D

there was also a photo of the upper side of the wings, although the quality is not very good.

I would even say super commercial. Sometimes you will look at the prices of some" according to their wording " rare subspecies - so at least stand, even fall)))
