Isn't D. Newt an American species? http://www.spiderwebwatch.org/spiders/Dolomedes_triton

According to two European standards at Tyschenko's:

fimbriatus-abdomen on top with 4 yellowish longitudinal lines (all Russia)

plantarius - ... with 2 rooms (forest area)

Judging by the book, I'm probably not an expert. There is also a book on females of this species: "epigina without hairs" (in another species with hairs).

Here is the link for plantarius http://www.eurospiders.com/Dolomedes_plantarius.htm
Not all spiders of this species have stripes on the abdomen.
