I created this topic because I have long been tormented by some doubts about the definition of this or that type of photo.
I have already asked a question about Notodonta torva and Notodonta ziczac caterpillars in the topic of determining larvae and pupae, but they either do not know or did not notice my question.
I think this topic is necessary because there are a lot of butterflies and caterpillars, the differences of which are insignificant, or not noticeable at first glance.
So, no matter how much I looked at the photos of the sites that identify Notodonta torva and Notodonta ziczac caterpillars, I didn't find any differences.
I also don't understand the differences in adult caterpillars of Clostera pigra and Clostera curtula, and how to distinguish different harpies at the caterpillar stage?
