Выложил фотографию на сайт "MacroClab" и тут мнения разделились. Есть мнение, что это спаривающиеся Calobata petronella, по другому мнению это Empididae Rhamphomyia.
Снято 15 Июня 2014 в Ярославской области. Помогите, пожалуйста, определиться конкретнее, кто же это и почему. Благодарю.картинка: _DSC0430_Calobata_petronella_1.jpg

You have there on MacroClabe again probably some kind of non-constructive dispute, with complete ignorance of the matcha, you are discussing which of the flies has redder eyes or some other garbage.

You have in the photo Empididae Rhamphomyia sp.
Here is a photo of Calobata petronella with Diptera.info: http://www.diptera.info/showphoto.php?photo_id=8062
As they say, find 10 differences. Google responds with more than two dozen photos of Calobata petronella, so you can make sure that it's not in your photo.

I noticed that MacroClub is very fond of definitions in the spirit of: "this car is red, so this is a fire truck", and then for two hours the discussion is a fire truck or not, and then the shade of red is not the same, while no one thinks that the purpose of the car is not determined by color, there are fire trucks not only red and in the photo in general combine.

Thanks for the reply. About MacroClub. It's where photographers, not entomologists, gather , communicate, and exhibit their work. For this reason, in the first place is artistry, creativity, and not pedantry in determining the family, species, and genus. I am not sure that the most competent, educated and experienced entomologist is also competent in artistic photography of insects, cobwebs, droplets, flowers, and even more so in a huge variety of macro photography techniques, technical "gadgets", and in complex modern photographic equipment. To each his own! Once again, thank you!

Well, yes, a soap dish for 5,000 rubles. shoots better than a DSLR for 300,000 rubles

But after all, he is on the Macro Club, about which such an unpleasant review was made at the beginning. Like, plebeians put up their photos, and then spend hours debating, absolutely not understanding the subject of the dispute.

Do you believe in what you've written? Apparently all photographers are brainless fools, they pay 300,000 instead of 5? Moreover, " the soap box shoots better!

I can't agree more, Gennadich. Sinful! I like the picture to be bright and juicy. There is enough dullness and ordinariness in life... Come visit, I will be glad: http://rasfokus.ru/berezin

Damn, why does everyone know what other people think and how they feel about something?
Why do you think I have such an unflattering opinion about the Macro Club? I always have a lot of respect for people who do a great job.

You can discuss any topic without understanding the subject of the discussion, but then it turns from a discussion into a pointless dispute, for the sake of the dispute itself.

IMHO, the dispute about which of the nth number of black boogers with a red ass is similar to this one with the same color, despite the fact that many of these boogers, purely visually, have as much in common as a locomotive with a passenger car (for this there is no need for deep knowledge of entomology, especially since the quality of images allows), little productive (your case is just from this opera). For me, such a "discussion" looks strange among people who understand "a huge variety of macro photography techniques, technical "gadgets", and even complex modern photographic equipment", where the technical side of the issue, you are cameras, first of all, do not compare by color, weight and price.
If it doesn't matter what exactly is depicted in the photo, then what is the point of the dispute in general? You can write "black and red booger" and discuss the art and technique of shooting.

Do you believe in what you've written? Apparently all photographers are brainless fools, they pay 300,000 instead of 5? Moreover, " the soap box shoots better!

I believe it, because in many cases this is exactly the case. wink.gif
People are so arranged, they buy a soap dish for five, take pictures, some photos are very good (just according to the law of probability). People who are happy with their "success" in photography buy a DSLR for a certain hundred thousand, but for some reason the photos turn out to be shitty, and they conclude that all this is bullshit and money thrown away, because a more expensive camera should shoot better a priori, and only a few people think, maybe they are doing something wrong.
Some attempts to identify insects in the Macro Club look similar. If you are thinking about it, then maybe you should read the instructions?

To be honest, I really regretted that I turned to this site for help. All I did was ask him to decide on an insect, and in return he raked in a lot of shit. Thanks! And even more so, there is nothing to talk about with a person who seriously believes that the best camera is a soap dish. Farewell!

wall.gif Again, you have decided for me that I am" in full earnest " in my opinion.
After all, I thought I was talking to a smart, interesting person, but it turned out that I was "raking the plebeian shit in heaps". I am very sorry that your fine mental organization could not stand criticism.
