to Tyomochin: in the fishing accessories store, you can buy an excellent Chinese podsachnik with a telescopic holder and a folding hoop with a diameter of 40 cm or more. You can sew the bag yourself.

They seemed a little heavy to me, you'll get tired of waving when mowing. But maybe I just looked at the wrong ones.

They come in different diameters and correspondingly different weights.
Tyomochin I advise you to go to the Darwin Museum and buy Bogdanov's brooch " Collection, preparation and restoration of insects for museum entomological collections." This is a thin 30-sheet boshurka. For a beginner, the book is very sensible: how to make nets, how to catch, how to pack, etc., including how to remove butterflies from caterpillars.
Perhaps "bison from entomology" will attack me with criticism of this work, but I do not know of another similar guide for beginners.

I know how to make a net, but I'm already tired of using "homemade". I want to fish with universal nets.

17.05.2006 22:03, Pavel Morozov

Universal net-holder telescopic, folding hoop, bag - about 100 cu on German sites of entomological equipment.
Although I have a stick (three-wheeled telescopic) and a hoop (40 cm in diameter, folds into 4) - Chinese, for 180 rubles, and a bag from the Czech Republic - for 10 cu.

I recently bought my new one at the Opening Day. Nothing so, a four-fold hoop 40 cm, good bag material and a two-knee handle - only 1390 rubles.

Do you mean the Entomological Vernissage website?

Thank you!!!!!! You helped me out!!!!! beer.gif

The day before yesterday I bought a net in the fishing department: 3 knee telescopic handle (light) + hoop, large in diameter (in my opinion for entomology too big) folding. The whole thing cost 3 bucks + 10 rubles. true, I took a hoop with a Korean mesh (from the old entom. a net) and attached it to a stick.. a hoop with an extended stick is about 1.83 meters long, so that you can safely collect animals from the trees..

I also bought a Chinese podsachek in a fishing shop. Indeed, before that I came across unsuccessful copies - this light one, in a fully decomposed state of about 3 m handle-the very thing in the crowns to screw lol.gif

in the unfolded 3 meters?! Horror, so exactly in the crowns.. or even you can intercept swallows smile.gifOr catch water meters from the bottom of the world ocean on the surface lol.gif

Can you tell me any stores in Moscow with such Chinese nets?

Can you tell me any stores in Moscow with such Chinese nets?

New Bird, for example.

31.08.2006 20:44, RippeR

I took it from the fishing department, of which there are many on our bird and in other places. Only mine has 1.8 meters, but the country is different, which means that most likely many other products are imported

28.11.2006 22:47, Tyomochkin

Please share who sews what on the net (material). By the way, those who made the nets themselves, please share how to attach the fabric to the rim (in addition to the stripe).

28.11.2006 23:54, RippeR

I didn't make a net myself (or rather, the one I'll tell you about), but the scheme is simple. On the net, the usual white cotton fabric is sewn, so that the rim can be pushed through. There is no need to sew on the rim and attach it to it, since the fabric will hold perfectly anyway, since the rim is round, the main thing is not to make the net too large, otherwise it will definitely ride.

29.11.2006 19:03, Tyomochkin

This is understandable, I just got tired of sewing the canvas. If it breaks, you have to change everything five times.

05.04.2007 5:33, Tyomochkin

Dear entomologists, Can you tell me the address where you can buy a fishing net with a 50 cm hoop?

05.04.2007 10:54, Guest

any fishing gear store
specifically, is in "extreme"

05.04.2007 20:13, Zhuk

When buying a Chinese net, pay attention to the attachment of the stick to the hoop! Right now they began to release a bunch of left nets in which the thread in the mount gets out! I bought it like this and it fell apart through frown.gifmensyats

I want the metro and an approximate description of how to get there!

No, American, this is a false American utopia. I would like to see you in shorts in a forest clearing full of wildebeest and waist-high prickly grass, running after something lol.gif

Sorry, brother...
But I'm tired of changing the handles three times a season...
they are made of some soft metal and it is worth stepping on or against the wind, and they add up...
And the short ones themselves are too short...

25.04.2007 14:25, Zhuk

Three handles per season! eek.gif What are you doing with this video? My Chinese is now in its fourth year of operation. I use them to eat porridge and catch everything in the air.

25.04.2007 15:14, omar

Net porridge? Interesting....Gentlemen, let's still write correctly, best of all in Russian, but it will do in English, and we will not turn the forum into a forum "padoncaf" - IMHO

Go to an office that sells lab plastic for CLINICAL laboratories. I think you will see a lot of such good things there. For example, containers for collecting feces. there, however, often spoons are attached.
