Demonstration smoke (in practice, it doesn't make sense to smoke on a bush, plus the screen under a tree / bush should be much larger than here), and also the wind, which should not be (see previous messages).

Yeah! I can hardly get such a thing frown.gif.

Anthicus, does it also shoot down butterflies (nocturnal ones)?

Puts to sleep, as I wrote yesterday, everything: insects (all), spiders, millipedes, snails, frogs, lizards, etc. Birds, however, have not yet fallen even once. But I think they would also be put to sleep if they didn't fly away from frightsmile.gif.Fortunately, as I said before, all this wakes up later and runs / spreads / flies away.

There's nothing to apologize for! Everyone has the right to their own opinion.

Related question: is it possible to achieve similar results without expensive and inaccessible installations? Just in the right weather and in the right place to make one or more smoke fires and periodically sprinkle pyrethroid concentrate there.

No, that won't do - the pyrethroids will burn.
In these installations, the principle is different - in the pipe, the insecticide solution is sprayed by a shock wave to a fine state and flies out in the form of fog (they are called "fog generators "or"foggers"). Please note that the pipe of the units is covered with a metal mesh - hot, so as not to get burned.
