mmm... You can, but no fuss.. yes, and get dirty no less like + wash basin wink.gif
By the way, they don't water corpses, but beetles that want to get away.

Honestly, I didn't work with chloroform, but isn't it the same in terms of effect?? Yes, and it is more difficult to get itfrown.gif, and there are no problems with beetles - they don't fly away, they don't run far and fast, so everything is in order wink.gif

Chloroform works faster.

In hot weather, it is problematic to carry a bottle of chloroform with you...

why is it problematic?

30.07.2007 14:22, omar

Very volatile, flammable. If you put the bottle in the heat in the sun, it explodes as there is nothing to do. On an expedition, I usually take not the bottle itself, but lumps of cotton soaked in it, in an airtight jar.

An expensive treat, however.

From the point of view of toddlers, all this messing with corpses (at least in the European part of the former USSR) is of little interest. 99% are banals. The most trumpy species live in nests, burrows, mushrooms, sand. Interesting species are found on very dry corpses, and even then-where it is more cozy.

Chloroform is non-flammable and can be used for extinguishing because it produces heavy vapors. The bottle exploded most likely due to the vapor pressure, or the chloroform was some kind of strange. It is much more dangerous that chloroform gives phosgene during storage, especially in the presence of water in it and in the light. Of course, it is not realistic to get poisoned, but there is nothing pleasant about the smell of phosgene: -)

The chloroform was laboratory grade. In a sealed factory bottle. About extinguishing a fire with chloroform - a good idea! Be sure to try it! I didn't say the word "combustible". lol.gif
