Dear collector.
Just exactly about what you should or should not be afraid of legally, I am sooooo well known by virtue of my profession...

guys, well, you give out. Are you paranoid or something? In Russia, sturgeon is caught in nets, and tons of red caviar are exported! And no one can cope with these, although the damage is billions! And you just think that because I write that I caught a Swallowtail, they will knock on my door? Complete nonsense!

I totally agree!
I think our authorities will not be up to collectors for many, many years yet

Has it ever occurred to you that those who catch sturgeon are paying off those who are supposed to catch them? And those who are even taller? And for other, simple ones, there are laws - statistics of solved crimes have not gone away, you know.. smile.gif

I, of course, also believe that no one cares about bobochek and beetles, but it is better to refrain from publishing information that may come out sideways.

Here, so that your salivation is not so plentiful, be curious, and also remember the requirements for countries applying for membership in the WTO and the European Union:

This is understandable - if you don't know anything, you sleep well.

I would put the question differently! Do not catch rare endangered species in vain, for the sake of your greed. And then you can safely write your entire collection and sleep in peace.

It seems that once again the discussion is slipping into the usual tracks : what are rare and endangered species, whether a collector can harm their populations by trapping them, and how appropriate is the inclusion of species in the Red Books of different levels? We've already discussed it...

Not quite.. The fact that we can't do any harm has long been found out.. But the laws can't prove wink.gifit

The Internet is full of sites that sell insects directly. And Red Books, and not so much. People post their price lists and exact contact and purchase coordinates. As far as I know, so far, no one has suffered for this. And so, to be afraid of everything, you can reach paranoia.
