I had some ideas about sending butterflies in a straightened form. Since the forum does not allow you to post satya in its entirety, I posted on your site. I'm interested in your opinion.

in my opinion, the idea with the directed butterflies is bad.. Too much shaking and all that.. And the containers themselves are not bad. The main thing can be done in any size and shape.. for example, a triangular box for tea bags..

Containers may not be bad, but it is still more convenient to transport butterflies in envelopes, more likely that the whole ones will come. A friend of mine used to send straightened butterflies and failed. Although they were packed like reliably. So I'm all for the envelopes.

The straightened butterfly was thrown from such a container to the floor from a height of one and a half meters - without damage. If packed in bubble wrap, it should reach. We should try to send to whom thread what thread.

Such a container should be packed in another, larger one (at least in a mailbox) and the gap between the walls of the container and the box should be filled with amortizing material. Then the chances increase significantly.

Initially, it was assumed that there would be several such containers in one package. Which can be shifted with some softening material.
As for the shock absorbing material inside I did not find any options confused.gif

No question, I can send you a certain number of undrafted butterflies of various families of belyanka, nymphalida , golubyanka, as well as several straightened ones, including golubyanka. I want to experimentally check the safety during delivery umnik.gif. Write to me: bahurin@mail.ru beer.gif

The simplest is cotton wool

I do not think that cotton wool will help, rather, on the contrary, the antennae and paws will cling to it, and most likely the straightened butterfly will not be untangled from it without loss. But once again I will repeat the experiment the whole head mol.gif

No, the cotton wool should be outside the foam "container", between it and the walls of the mailbox.

Instead of cotton wool, bubble packaging polyethylene is better, it does not fall off and amortizes better as it seems umnik.gifto me

It seems to me that switching to EMS or a similar mailer is still inevitable. The last few years have shown the amazing ability of our mail to crush any container to smithereens frown.gifI can hardly imagine what you need to do with a parcel to make a steel or plastic container fall apart, but the fact is the fact.

It's hard for me to imagine what you need to do with a parcel to make a steel or plastic container fall apart, but the fact is the fact.

I saw at the local post office, as receiving parcels, they were thrown from a two-meter height on the concrete floor. eek.gif

We should try DHL or something like that sometime.. However, they say that it is much more expensive.

Maybe they are on a bet, whose container is stronger and let's kalashmatit them, or they play football. The first person to fail the container lost.

Use microwave containers - they are resilient enough to not break and strong enough not to be flattened. By the way, if you received a package rolled out in a pancake, I advise you to write a claim (but BEFORE you put your signature on the notice, where it says that " mail... with undamaged packaging.... received")

Yeah...
As popular wisdom says:
"- Out of two evils, a person always chooses both!"
And indeed, after reading this topic, gentlemen, I come to the following conclusions.

Epigraph.

"- Here are the bastards.... "(From the memoirs of radio operator Kat)
" - Don't worry, my dear, if I see any of them, I'll decide right away! "(Marginal notes made by Sarah Connor)

1. Only vandals and maniacs work at the post office.
The conclusion suggests itself, since (selectively):
