Yes, both of them are made from old Zenit rings (at least they fit for something)

But besides the rings, there's something else in there, isn't there? Macro nozzle, it seems, plus an adapter with tape confused.gif

Having decided to step up the work on photofeeding on our trinocular, I poked around on the Internet in search of computer-controlled cameras. With indignation, I saw that Canon removed this function from the compact cameras, i.e. the last supporting ones were G 7, 9 and 10 ... People, tell me, is there anything else similar NOW? mol.gif

You can still find: Canon S3 IS, S5 IS, SX100 IS, SX110 IS, and 10 can still be found in the store

I used what was at hand and what could be piled on my knee in the kitchen: 2 sets of rings for Zenith. With or without push rod. With a push rod, the rings are more versatile, the ring with internal thread is removed from them and the inner diameter is more suitable. Actually, I did it first to understand and work out the optical scheme: at what distance what to put, what lenses to use, then I thought to make a drawing and order an adapter, but it seems that it turned out quite well so far.
1-adapter LA-DC58F-hardly found in the store, the most expensive part, perhaps.
2-step-down ring from 58 to 52
3 - wrap-around ring from 52 to M42
4-medium Zenith ring with push rod 15 mm (push rod pulled out) internal diameter somewhere 31-32 mm
5 - inserted eyepiece 10/23 diameter 30.5 mm on the fumlent for plumbing.... tight! At a distance, so that the object of the device at maximum zoom exactly rests on the eyepiece for minimal vignetting.
6-a large zenith ring without a pusher (30 mm), twisted with the middle ring in which the eyepiece is, wrapped in black insulation so that they do not unwind in this place.
7-ring with internal thread M42, pulled out of the Zenith ring with a pusher, (it is held in it by 3 screws, you can see on the middle ring, where I have the eyepiece inserted).
8-ring with external thread M42-sawn off from a small zenitovsky ring with a pusher.
9 - standard part of the microscope. The upper edge was clamped in a drill and ground off with a file by 1 mm, so that ring 8 could be put on it.
Ring 7 serves to connect two external M42 threads to 6 and 8 rings.

Thank you for the detailed answer! beer.gif

Maybe I can help you with something.
Adapters for SLR cameras (35 mm) - http://meijitechno.com/camera_adapters.htm
Soap Box Adapters - http://meijitechno.com/digital_camera_adapters.htm
C-mount adapters - http://meijitechno.com/cmount.htm

all adapters are installed on a photo-video output tube with a diameter of 23 mm.

If you have any questions, just ask them.

Good afternoon!

I am a representative of the Altami company. Thank you to Valentin for the posted photos, it's nice to read positive reviews about your microscopessmile.gif
That would not suffer with the search for cameras and adapters to them, I can suggest this option:
eyepiece cameras Altami USB 3150R6 1 / 2CMOS, Altami USB 3150R6 1/2CMOS with Altami Studio software Altami Studio
-software for controlling digital cameras, conducting measurements and automatic image analysis(in Russian, English).
Features:
* real-time operation.
* manage the image capture process and perform image analysis.
* manage camera settings (brightness, gamma, saturation, exposure, gain, frame accumulation), as well as set available resolutions.
* calibrate the object-micrometer scale and save / upload the calibrations made.
* perform various types of measurements, both on a static image and on a video stream from the camera in real time.
* save the image with the measurement results in the format of an image analysis program, with the possibility of subsequent editing of any data;
* quickly evaluate the linear dimensions of image elements using a special tool-ruler. The ruler is an element of the window interface and consists of a vertical and horizontal ruler connected to each other, which displays the scale corresponding to the scale of the current image, and can be moved both together and separately. This functionality allows you to quickly analyze the image.
* display the results of current measurements in a separate list, with the ability to edit it.
* save/load all settings of the camera and software interface in a separate file of the required format.

By the way, here often come across brand-name used microscopes for relatively little money:

Denis, I clicked on the link.
There are several disadvantages:
1 Price without VAT
2 Duty will be charged
3 Delivery by EMS - there is no guarantee for the quality of delivery, or it may be lost altogether.
4 Payment is generally made to some left-wing people!

I didn't buy from this particular seller, but:

1. VAT is levied only on EU citizens.
2. A controversial issue.
3. It can. But eBay Buyer Protection rules.
4. Again, eBay Buyer Protection and 99.3% Positive feedback inspire confidence.
