Very well dried and weathered for a long time. Me, too, from Egypt sometimes bring thoroughly rotten and I do so.

Depends on how they stink. When I open my entomology cabinet, it's more like a tomb. About a dozen mattresses clogged with carbuses and bronzes do not allow me to breathe quietly for a year. In recent months, I no longer being able to tolerate further began to fill the fees (on the mattress) with hot water with the addition of powder, then again dry and zasteplirivayu fees. I'm sick of the stink. After the powder, the beetles (potosii and carabus - in color did not change).

And the question is interesting by the way. Despite the fact that I dried my collections after freezing in the sun (with a blanket over them) for a week at the dacha. They didn't stop smelling.

My water lovers stink terribly! Moreover, they have already dried up, but they have not stopped smelling

Can it be treated immediately with antibiotics? as an option

I usually just dry it and air it out, then stuff the bundles of layers into plastic bags.

Hello! My May beetles stank when they dried. What to do? You don't need to throw links on the forum, I looked at everything, but I didn't find a decent answer. Please help us.

while they are drying , they will stink.

How long should the beetles dry? And when they're dry, they'll stop smelling, right? Just these May beetles(15 pieces) They have been lying with their wings spread for about a week and a half...

Uh-huh. it all depends on the conditions.
I think they need a lot more time.
I have last year's ones that don't stink.

Sometimes for quick drying of large and already straightened beetles I use this a lamp. Any mirror lamp is also suitable. This is extreme and the main thing here is to choose the right distance to the beetle and not overexpose it: it helps. You can also blow with a hot hair dryer.
Denis, you will learn over time. And most importantly, read the forum: it is not the first day it exists.
