In one of the topics here, they were interested in whether transparent dies are made for mounting insects. As it turned out, they do.

transparent lids from sour cream are also ideal in density, if someone is too expensive to buy..

Also, transparent dies can be cut from the packaging of all sorts of gadgets (now they are packed in transparent sheet material). I don't throw out such packages on purpose.

I also cut from transparent film for printers (I printed a stencil before), but it turns out not so neatly, you can not make large dies (the film is too thin), and time...

I took a package at the congress - cool ones. it is a pity that there is no smaller size..

By the way: what kind of glue does it hold on plastic?

I use "ethyl acetate-soluble" ones, for example, transparent nail polish smile.gif
But "Hercules" also seems to go.

when mounting on transparent dies, how to pierce? Immediately mark the hole with a pin or pre-awl? Are you sure the Hercules is good for insects?

I immediately stick a pin in. About "Hercules" I will not say, but it seems that there were no reservations about the use of glue

So pierce like a cardboard die? I just thought that the plastic can not be pierced immediately with a pin.

Punctures normally, I use pins at least #2, and even # 3

Dear Bad Den, is it possible to see the defining features of the underside of the body through a die (for example, in Coccinelids) or is it just aesthetics and continue using triangles?

If you don't use a lot of glue, then full

So your first post with an offer to sell dies / pins is still valid?

The dies are just super! I glue nutcrackers, elephants, coccinelids, staffs, in short, all those who have the necessary signs from below. They look very aesthetically pleasing and the label is always clearly visible. THANK you VERY much Denis! beer.gif
