Cameras for microscopes

I'm going to buy a camera for a microscope for photographing the morphological structures of small invertebrates. People, please tell me, what are now good models up to 1000 USD (if any)? Are there any cameras with optional optical zoom instead of digital zoom? Which cameras work best with Lomov optics?
Thank you in advance!

IMHO, it is most effective to connect a digital camera via an adapter.

I have several Scopetek MDC-200 cameras lying around. Brand new. I will give you 7000 rubles, that is, for half the price.

There is a description here http://tele-optics.ru/product/cifrovaja-ka...-mdc200-usb-20/

There is one MDC-350 and DCM-900 each - both for 10000 rubles.

it is better to take an adapter, not a camera (if you do not need to zoom in) and connect it to a computer, for example

I recommend checking it out at Altami's. They have a wonderful software with full morphometry and a multi-focus function-an assembly from a series of corresponding images.

Oh, I used a similar eyepiece with a DCM series shitkicker camera once. True, the brand was E-trek, but this is the same Scopetek, only with a different label. Even the driver from Skopetek got up like a native. The trouble is that the matrices in such "professional specialized microscopy cameras" are from deshman video eyes and front-end smradphones lol.gif
Buy a used mirrorless or DSLR camera and adapter for the same or lower price. Or perhaps you already have such a photo (in a good way, every biologist who publishes not only microphotographs in publications should have it). Connections in microscopes are found T2-mount and C-mount, both quite popular with photographers with all the consequences in terms of the availability of components. Only, probably, you will also need to make a ring-shifter, because the microscope can stick out not "dad", as in photo-interactive devices, but "mom", but this is also a question of a maximum of 500 rubles and screwing in three cogs. But the result will be an incomparably higher quality and resolution of images.

Of course, there are also special microscopic cameras with normal matrices. But not Chinese brands and cost like a dozen new mirrorless cameras. And the picture is not given better (because everything that gives a picture better than modern "household" system cameras is not for civilian use). And even this would not help you, because the lenses in your microscope are not frozen either, but there are no options to save money here - micro-optics, unlike digital cameras, are not in great demand among the people, so it will always be expensive regardless of quality.

PS If we are not talking about a microscope for mulen, but Biolam-1P and others like them, then the first generation of Nexs or the second generation of micra 4/3 is enough for the eyes. Samsung NX 200 and younger is also good, since the system is long dead, they usually ask for a little less for them. The price of carcasses on the secondary market-from 1000 rubles.

Take a look at this catalog https://arstek.ru/product/byudzhetnye-kamery/ there is a large selection of digital microscopy cameras. This is the catalog of the Arstek company, which supplies a wide variety of microscopy equipment in all regions of Russia.

Bad catalog - no sensor model is specified for any camera.
