What is important is not a fundamental opportunity, but convenience. If you do something with effort, usually the result is broken legs and antennae. In isolon and soft foam, of course, everything is easy to turn, but I would not risk taking a box with such a backing on the road.

It has a very sharp and long sharpening and is made of very strong tool steel. The main thing is skill (I'm used to it). In general, almost any person tries to use "their own tool" in their work, which the hand is used to.
On the road, it is really better not to take isolon it is too soft and springy (the insect on the pin shakes and breaks): I agree here

Foam can be used for carrying, but you need to take a thicker one so that you can drive the pin almost under the insect itself so that the pin does not "walk". Then the probability of failure should be reduced to almost zero. This is how I see the solution to these problems.

Where to get a normal number of inexpensive pins. The main thing is that the steel is good, suitable length and correct sharpening.
For myself, I still see the solution to it in these pins (of course, I still need to use them).
