I study the demand for cotton mattresses for collecting insects.

Currently, there is a certain quantity available with the following characteristics:
- dimensions-15x21 cm, thickness 8 mm
-material-thick paper, density 200 gr., keeps its shape well, the mattress does not bend
- cotton wool-uniform thickness
- a sheet of paper for label entries on cotton wool
-packed in 10 or 20 pcs in cardboard boxes, which is convenient in the fields, because in such cases in boxes, the material on cotton wool dries well, unlike plastic containers. I myself have been using such boxes for a long time - quite compact, reliable.

suitable for almost all insects. thanks to the optimal thickness, they retain the shape of the insect body, without squeezing the bellies and breasts (in moths, etc.).

I agree. However, the cardboard will get wet and dry just as quickly. but plastic, if there is dampness inside , will destroy the material completely... in my experience, the boxes in my luggage have never been crushed before.

Make holes in the container for ventilation - and voila. You can also add silica gel.
