Here is such a scorpion I caught in the Crimea in September 2006. In January 2007, she brought 15 baby scorpions smile.gif. Thank God, I managed to take a picture. Unfortunately, they did not survive me frown.gif, gradually they all died out. I don't know, I kept the humidity up, fed it regularly... But my mother still lives smile.gif.

And where and how did you find the scorpion?

In Alupka (Crimea, South Caucasus) there is such an Alupkinsky Park. That's where I found him under a piece of concrete. Actually, I saw another one there, but he got away. And so there is still a bunch of some giant kivsyakov was (up to 8cm.). Kind of don't know frown.gif.

I was looking for this type of scorpion for many, many happy years spent as a child in the Crimeasmile.gif. At the same time, local residents were fiercely indignant, complaining about "cursed scorpions", which are "around a dime a dozen". Interestingly, one woman was actually bitten. True, not a scorpion, but a scolopendra... The lady went to bed and put pressure on the centipede, which, apparently, was already fast asleepwink.gif

These I collected en masse in the Nikitsky Botanical Garden, for some reason near some booths (bovernykh? transformer stations?) from bricks that were located in the" forest zone " of the botsad, under pieces of concrete and bricks.

Great, I have repeatedly lived Mingrelian and Italian, but I did not have to see the Crimean ones. One Mingrelian mother also gave birth, here were the little things, pieces under 30-40.

Mingrelian look more spectacular wink.gif

Well, yes, they are larger and smile.gifmore powerful

And the Crimean one is only 3 cm long.
Can I post more photos of scolopendra?

Post it, but in a different topic.

In Alupka (Crimea, South Caucasus).

First of all. I caught the same species there. But not under a rock, but in the house, in the toilet. wink.gif

The most massive fishing of Krymsky is in Nikita, as well as in the Vorontsov Palace on the South Coast. You can collect 20 pieces per day if desired.
