Did you catch this butterfly yourself? For the Kurai range, elwesi is not mentioned by anyone. Can I get more precise coordinates?

Andylog,I received it as a gift from a friend smile.gif, I myself went to those places more than once, but found nothing,so I was incredibly happy with such a beautiful gift. So I didn't catch it, and I can't say more than what's written on the label. As for the Kurai ridge, you are in vain, I myself have studied this issue in detail, and such finds are mentioned. Even in such an accessible publication as the red Book.

This species was described from the Chui Steppe. But as far as I know, no one caught him there after Elves. All Russian finds are only from Tuva (western, central, and eastern). So, for "more accurate coordinates" we would be grateful to "the whole world":)

I support PG18, it would be very cool to learn about finding this butterfly in the Altai!!

it was caught in the mongun taiga. (vadim Ivonin caught one shingle in the first days of July 2002 somewhere at 2500 m). in principle, mongun taiga, although in Tuva geographically, is Altai.
